Overall Role Description
The Senior Strategic Analyst is a strategist who has not only mastered the daily requirements and needs of complex data analysis and management, but can also drive overarching strategy work. This role is expected to operate effectively and efficiently with little to no direction on existing projects, as well as new business, and plays a significant role in thought leadership.
Lead Analytics across multiple client teams, not only driving metrics and results, but strategic integration and POVs across the account
Develop analytical frameworks that align business goals with metrics across multiple channels: social, digital, traditional
Ensure the final completion of comprehensive analytics approaches, including testing and end-to-end data gathering
Provide key input into the development of creative briefs, ensuring that our approach will target the right audiences and yield the right results
Drive audience segmentation / definition work with broader strategic team and appropriate third-party vendors, including primary and secondary research
Create performance-driven analytics reports that inform strategic and creative shifts
Be a strategic client partner, providing thought leadership, delivering strategic recommendations, and pushing their business forward
Keep current on social media trends, developments and opportunities on an ongoing basis, sharing knowledge and new ideas, as appropriate
A minimum of 5-7 years experience in an agency, delivering cross-channel analytics and strategic recommendations
Experience using a variety of analytics and social listening platforms, from Google Analytics to Netbase to Sprinklr and beyond
Ability to establish goals, create benchmarks, measure and report across omni-channel campaigns
Experience partnering with and presenting to senior client leadership, providing thoughtful strategic recommendations that are informed by data
Thorough understanding of applying analytical models and metrics to client and brand strategies
Interest and ability to create new processes/tools to more efficiently deliver for our clients
Ability to always be in “idea mode,” bringing progressive and creative concepts and insights to team brainstorms and projects
Excellent presentation, public speaking, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability and willingness to be a strategic thinker and leader but at the same time a “doer” and idea generator
