SOCIALDEVIANT is looking for a full-time Human Resource Manager to join our ambitious team of DEVIANTs in our West Loop Chicago office. At SOCIALDEVIANT, we’re obsessed with helping our clients grow their brands faster with bigger impact, by creating magnetic brands (aka passionate brands that attract the right audiences).

Manage and implement human resources initiatives and programs and execute internal priorities.
You’ll be expected to work independently to execute against existing policies while also proactively recommending new, cutting edge programs.
Advising employees and leaders on HR-related policies, programs, and procedures
Managing compensation and performance management systems and the link between the two
Ensuring the benefits offerings remain competitive, compelling, and progressive
Support payroll, approvals, HRIS and auditing
Oversee the talent acquisition function to include sourcing and screening candidates, interview strategy, offer processing, on-boarding, and more
Ensure accurate job descriptions are available and updated
Ensure employees are aware of company programs, company culture and priorities
Identify and manage training for employee development, to include technical and professional development
Build out and support career development and career-pathing
Stay abreast of HR trends and areas of knowledge to best leverage at SOCIALDEVIANT
Develop workforce planning strategies and plans to ensure available talent matches client and new business needs. Maintain a proactive pipeline for future hiring
Ensure external-facing social media and other outlets are updated effectively to drive potential candidate flow and employer brand awareness
Research the effectiveness of HR programs and propose improvements to policies, programs, and procedures to improve human resources effectiveness and operations
Bachelor’s Degree, a PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Five years of experience in a human resources generalist role within a progressive and entrepreneurial environment
Passion for recruitment and the acquisition of great talent
Understanding and love of a “kind” culture and ability to identify DEVIANT talent
Ability and willingness to be a strategist but also the executor of many programs
Strong reputation as an effective HR professional
Excellent presentation, public speaking, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability and willingness to be a thinker and leader but at the same time a “doer” and idea generator
Above all, kindness, composure, and relentless curiosity
